First, an easy prediction.

Survivor Series will come and go, and (aside from a few notable pushes that will be discussed) it'll be largely forgotten about by the time Royal Rumble rolls around. That's the hidden beauty of this Raw vs. SmackDown format. WWE can put it back in a box marked 'Open In November 2019' and move on as though nothing happened.

As for the matches themselves, well, they've become a little more difficult to predict. WWE have made sizeable changes to the card, including putting Daniel Bryan in AJ Styles' place against Brock Lesnar and using Charlotte Flair as a replacement for the injured Becky Lynch opposite Ronda Rousey. The challenge here will come in choosing who WWE are happy to sacrifice so close to WrestleMania season.

Survivor Series boasts eight matches if one includes the pre-show tag-team elimination, but only a handful have any real interest behind them. The least exciting, like Buddy Murphy's routine win over Mustafa Ali, the aforementioned Kickoff match and the women's elimination, aren't included here.

Everything that could shape the future is. Here are some late predictions on what Survivor Series holds in store...
