1. Daniel Bryan Uses Every Shortcut In The Book

Kicks to the balls, biting, scratching, clawing, weapon shots, ref bumps and any other desperate tactic he can get his hands on must be part of Daniel Bryan's playbook at Survivor Series. This is Brock Lesnar we're talking about, and so Bryan has to be presented as a wiry street fighter who has newfound hatred in his heart.

The match with Brock will only work if Daniel shows the same fire he did when kicking lumps out of AJ Styles after taking that man's WWE Title from him.

There's no room for a hasty retreat into Bryan as an underdog babyface. WWE put that to rest when they had him look like he had blood lust on Tuesday. This is a new chapter in Daniel's career, and it's one his employers must embrace head on if they want it to work.

Otherwise, the beating he gave AJ will stand out as odd and become pointless over time. Survivor Series represents the chance to make Bryan look like a man possessed after years of mental torture over his wrestling dreams being ripped to pieces.

That's true whether he wins or loses.
