WWE Survivor Series 2018: 10 Things That Must Happen
9. Buddy Murphy Retains The Cruiserweight Title
The Cruiserweight Title match lacks the multi-brand nonsense seen elsewhere and that therefore makes it one of the pay-per-view's more direct, meaningful bouts. There's no reason to expect anything less than a 10-minute match that has some nice high spots and flying sequences from Mustafa Ali.
Truthfully, anything can happen bell-to-bell so long as Buddy Murphy retains the belt and continues showing why he's one of WWE's most improved in 2018.
There's surely no way the writers will pull a fast one on Murphy a month or so on from his homecoming win at Super Show-Down in Australia. Ali has been a title contender before without success, and it's predicted he'll come up short at Survivor Series too.
Any other outcome would have to be considered a shock considering Triple H went public on social media with his admiration for Buddy's hard work. This is just the beginning for his title reign, and Ali isn't the right man to end it, especially prematurely.
