The fact that Rey Mysterio was dressed as Joker for his WWE Title match won't be lost on most, but there was a hidden cleverness to his attire that might be.

In the movie, Joaquin Phoenix' character Arthur Fleck is pushed to extreme measures when society rejects his behaviour. In WWE land, Rey was pushed to extreme measures (challenging Brock to a No DQ match in which he could get seriously hurt) due to Brock's bullying ways.
