WWE Survivor Series 2021: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

4. Roman Reigns Buries Big E

This piece was penned before Friday's 'go home' episode of SmackDown for Survivor Series. That means it's totally possible that WWE has already stripped the crown gimmick from Roman Reigns and handed it back to Xavier Woods by the time you read this. If so, then good.

Scrap that, actually. Thank f*ck would be more appropriate.

Reigns doesn't need to become a walking cartoon. He's at his best when he's a super-serious wrecking machine who occasionally acts cowardly when up against a stiff test. Big E fits the "stiff test" criteria, but there's always a chance that WWE will go into auto-pilot mode and just book Roman's matches as one-sided.

That cannot be allowed to happen. E would look defunct as WWE Champion if he got slapped around by the Universal Champ. Big E doesn't need to necessarily win (someone has to lose in these Raw vs. SmackDown bouts), but he must be competitive.
