8. Shotzi Gets Totally Squashed

Shotzi is being set up for failure.

The Elvira of SmackDown has won her past two televised matches on the brand, and she'll challenge Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women's Title this weekend. This only ends one way: Shotzi getting helped to the back in agony after Ronda arm bars her senseless and struts away like Conor McGregor.

There's just no way WWE would strip that belt from Rousey right now - not before WrestleMania 39 rolls around, and certainly not to someone who has been booked as erratically as Shotzi. Many smell a squash heading into the pay-per-view, and they're probably right to be suspicious.

At best, Shotzi will get a few strikes and a near fall in before Ronda treats her like Brock Lesnar did Kofi Kingston back in 2019. Annoyingly, squashing Shotzi won't achieve anything. That isn't something Rousey even needs, and it'd spurn Shotzi's chance to spin out of this title shot into something else.
