WWE: The Many Faces Of Matt Bloom AKA Tensai

The A-Train (World Wrestling Entertainment, 2002 - 2004)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtjTy_Mzd7w After spliting with Scott Taylor Bloom was relegated to Velocity. While seemingly floundering in a non main roster role he began associating with The Big Show and Paul Heyman. After being convinced to ditch his ring gear in favour of a more serious look Bloom's Albert became the scary (and hairy) looking A-Train. Despite chants of "Shave your back" from the fans A-Train was treated as a legitimate threat by the WWE and was pushed into the Big Show/Undertaker feud which lead to a match at Wrestlemania 19 in which A-Train became a name on The Undertaker's famous Streak, forever etched into wrestling history and lore. After splitting with Heyman and Show A-Train continued to pose a threat to the WWE mid card feuding with names like Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero. Despite coming out on the losing end much of the time A-Train was a mainstay of Smackdown programming and was heavily featured until being traded to RAW in 2004. As has often been the case with names traded from one show to another there was no spot for Bloom on RAW and after suffering a torn rotator cuff in June 2004 he was released from his WWE contract. Although he probably didn't think it at the time this was perhaps the best thing that could have ever happened to him.
