"Fire Velveteen Dream" on Sunday, Benoit on Monday... another fine mess.

WWE's ThunderDome concept served up another visual gap last night, as one pf RAW's digital fans was able to project a photograph of Chris Benoit into the Amway Center for a brief period of time.

NoDQ.com's Aaron Rift tweeted about it here:-

This was the last photograph of Benoit taken before his 2007 death. It was there at the very top of the show, making air as Drew McIntyre cut his opening promo, though WWE quickly cut the fan's feed.

ThunderDome also played host to Super Mario, Pikachu, and, repulsively, a Ku Klux Klan sign (which we shan't publish) last night. All of this came just 24 hours after a fan had snuck a "Fire Velveteen Dream" image into the background at SummerSlam 2020.

Incidents like this going down were always going to be a danger once WWE announced they'd be allowing fans to beam into the arena from their homes. It looks like the promotion is having trouble controlling what slips through the net, and understandably so: that's a lot of streams to micromanage at once, with viewers emboldened by the security of doing this from their own home.

The concept needs some fine-tuning, that's for sure.
