WWE TLC 2015: 10 Things We Learned

A Roman Reigns Royal Rumble win might not be the most outlandish prediction...

WWE pay-per-views work a different way from how they used to. Traditionally, the company had to really push each supercard as being exactly that, 'super'. In attempting to convince fans than a show was worth shelling out for, the promotion often had to dedicate a lot of effort. Things have changed with the advent of the WWE Network, a cheaper service which allows WWE to cut some corners in preparation. In essence, there's nothing wrong with this, because the traditional method of pay-per-view was hardly red hot for a few years previously. However, it is abundantly clear to those wrestling fans who have been watching for years that TLC was far from a priority. Indeed, WWE seemed to already be looking past the final big event of the year, harping on about the Royal Rumble and the start of the 'Road To WrestleMania'. It'd be amiss to deny that TLC suffered from this, but it was also a decent show overall. The big questions people will now have pertain to the Royal Rumble, and where exactly the creative team will take many of the stories featured at TLC in the future. Thankfully, as this article shows, TLC was able to shed some light on that. The following 10 points are all things we learned from 2015's final pay-per-view event.
