The clock struck midnight, and poor Finn Bálor turned into a pumpkin. But apparently daylight saving came a week early for the Irishman, who has been granted a reprieve from his gourdy gaudiness due to the unforeseen circumstances which mean his schlocky Cinderella won't be at the ball.

Wyatt's absense is a shame, as predicting his matches is an easy copy-paste job. It may have been more efficient to simply announce a Bray forfeit, swiftly cutting to the probable chase with the handy side benefit of skipping an embarrassing Hallowe'en havoc contest. Instead, AJ deputising means we have to put up with a long, probably great match. Who wants that?

The usual rule is that the replacement wins, but does this apply when their opponent is a demon? Unlikely, but WWE probably aren't be eager to beat AJ when he's being built as a WWE title contender. Despite not being in Minneapolis this Sunday, expect some sort of nonsense from a pre-recorded Bray (or Sister Abigail double) to stop a brewing classic dead in its tracks.

Prediction: Some spooky sh*t goes down and Finn wins by DQ.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
