2. Asuka Is The New SmackDown Women’s Champion

Almost a full year after winning the first ever women's Royal Rumble match, Asuka finally has a main roster championship in her hands. Is the wait worth it? Only time will tell. We doubt Asuka gives a sh*t about some of the nonsense booking she's had to endure however. Talent comes out shining and all that.

She certainly did.

Despite looking like the prototypical third wheel who was only there to make up the numbers between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, Asuka escaped with the SmackDown Women's Title. She's got the title at the best time possible; 'Mania season is just about to start, and there won't be any pressure on the Japanese star to replicate her Rumble heroics again.

Sure, there's no 'Champ vs. Champ' scenario now for Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey, but that could work in their favour. There's absolutely nothing to stop WWE from putting Ronda's belt on the line against Becky. That means Asuka would need another dance partner for 'Mania...
