WWE TLC 2018: 10 Things We Learned

7. Drew McIntyre & Dolph Ziggler Should’ve Wrestled Instead

As much as it's rubbish to admit for anyone enjoying Drew McIntyre' rise to prominence on Raw, his match with Finn Bálor at TLC was another missed opportunity. The real issue for Drew is with ex-partner Dolph Ziggler, not the Irishman, and that therefore rendered his match defunct from the get-go.

Why wasn't McIntyre working Ziggler instead?

Bálor has been awkwardly inserted in between the former running buddies to give him something to do, and that's diluting the simmering feud between Dolph and Drew. Now, after Ziggler attacked him backstage, Finn will probably get some revenge on Raw when the pair go head-to-head.

That means Finn, someone who isn't in the feud's foreground, could have beaten both McIntyre and Ziggler, and done so rather convincingly. WWE should have cut out the middle man and had the former 'Dogs Of War' go at it at TLC instead.
