WWE TLC 2018: 10 Things We Learned

5. Braun Strowman Is Brock Lesnar’s Rumble Foe

Perhaps the only upside to Braun Strowman's waste of time with Baron Corbin, Apollo Crews, Bobby Roode, Chad Gable, Finn Bálor and Kurt Angle is that Brock Lesnar's next Universal Title challenge is set. At the Royal Rumble, Braun meets Brock for the big red belt, and maybe this time he'll get the win.

Never mind Vinnie Mac's promises to "shake up" WWE on Raw, because a Strowman title triumph would do his job for him.

Roman Reigns was supposed to the full-time Universal Champ before illness sadly robbed him of the chance. Now, the part-time Lesnar is in the hot seat again, and he's barely around to defend his prize. Call it a hunch, but it seems WWE will give Braun a try as the touring titleholder heading into WrestleMania 35.

Or, maybe Strowman will get screwed at the Rumble and then coronated at 'Mania. Whatever happens, he's set up to be Brock's challenger, and it's a nice touch that WWE are announcing these matches on the prior pay-per-view.
