WWE TLC 2018: 10 Things We Learned

Sunday night was the end of Seth Rollins' 2018 domination of the Intercontinental Title. Aside from The Miz and Dolph Ziggler, nobody has held the title apart from Rollins this year, and his combined 190 days as champ dwarf everyone else's achievements. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

There's a new sheriff in town, and he's batsh*t insane.

Dean Ambrose won the title at TLC, and he's now finely-poised to rub that glory in Seth's face heading into the Rumble. Once that's done, he could move on to bigger things in the Universal Title picture; it's unlikely these two will lock horns in MetLife Stadium like they're the Giants and the Jets. Rollins deserves the chance to do something different.

Ambrose is surely keeping the belt warm as a heel for WWE's next babyface push in the mid card, and it's a lottery who that could be at the moment. For now, he has a title to justify his heel turn and is a good enough heel to heap sympathy on somebody.
