WWE TLC 2018: 10 Things WWE Got Right

5. Ronda Rousey’s Definitive Win

Nia Jax got to do her power moves, stick her tongue to the side of her mouth (seriously, why does she do that so often?) and grabbed a few near falls on Ronda before Rousey roared back and comprehensively smashed her. That was all their match at TLC needed to be.

Job done.

Given what was to come later that night, it was so, so vital that Ronda beat Nia clean and scared off her little pal Tamina into the bargain. She did both, even kissing Jax's hand before ripping her arm off with a submission, and looked strong because of it. This, throwaway match aside going in, was a good use of 'Ronnie'.

WWE will always find a spot for her on the card whether she has a credible opponent or not. Nia definitely wasn't that, granted, and yet the record books say Ronda racked up another title defence. Those numbers should come in handy somewhere down the line.
