WWE TLC 2018: 8 Last Minute Rumours You Need To Know

1. Bray Wyatt To Return In A New Role

Here's one way, way, way out of left-field. Sort of.

Bray Wyatt has been away from TV since Matt Hardy was forced to semi-retire over his injuries. He very briefly reappeared at Starrcade but then immediately disappeared again. His WWE future has been up in the air for some time, but there's a suggestion that they may have found the perfect role for him.

With rumours persisting that Braun Strowman is not going to be fit to... yeah, you're right, I've covered that already... with Strowman potentially out there's a spot available to face Crobin. With his General Managership on the line, a new opponent would need something to gain from a win themselves, an all-or-nothing TLC match for the top job on the flagship programme is one hell of a main event, even before you consider that one half of the match is a surprise return.

Dave Meltzer - who always gets a mention here - has put forward the idea that this is something WWE are giving serious consideration to and there's more than a lick of sense about it. Bray was the one who brought Braun into the WWE and, if the latter is unable to compete, it would make sense that he'd call on the former to take his place.
