WWE TLC 2020: 10 Nightmares That Could Happen
2. Drew McIntyre Drops The Title
Ready for a double dose of disappointment?
It sounds so strange to suggest that super-worker AJ Styles winning the WWE Title would be a letdown, but don't forget who the reigning champ is. Drew McIntyre has flown the flag for that belt throughout most of 2020, and he hasn't had even one chance to wrestle in front of a proper live crowd.
WWE temporarily ended his dominance by writing a Randy Orton win at Hell In A Cell. Then, they put the strap back on Drew in mid-November shortly before the brand vs. brand Survivor Series show. They can't keep switching the title back and forth between McIntyre and others - he needs some consistency again.
At TLC, AJ could come out on top and play makeweight for another, even more feeble attempt to make the pay-per-view seem newsworthy. That's what would really blow. If WWE want to switch the title, do it once. Don't do it twice...
