WWE TLC 2020: 36 Things You Probably Missed

32. Some Math That Doesn't Add Up

WWE TLC 2020 AJ Styles Drew McIntyre

According to Byron Saxton, Drew has wanted to wrestle AJ Styles since he was 16 years old. Hmm, Byron's mathematics don't quite add up here; McIntyre is 35 years old, which means he turned 16 on 6 June 2001.

AJ hadn't quite made a name for himself in TNA by that point - that'd come the following year in 2002. He had worked some dates in WCW and on the indy scene by '01, but he wasn't exactly a top star. Sorry, Saxton, but it seems you were telling porkies here.
