WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (July 27)

6. A New Nation?

Vince McMahon has to be one of the laziest writers in all of television. He can€™t think of anything to do with minorities, except to stick them together in tag teams and stables. When Xavier Woods was called up, he was paired with R-Truth. Why? Because they€™re both African Americans. Then, The Funkadactyls joined up with them too? Why? Because they€™re also African Americans. Now Woods is joining up with Big E and Kofi for no tangible reason except for the color of their skin. Seriously, what else is the connection between the three of them? And after all these years, this is how we€™re getting a Kofi heel turn? Woods tried to come up with something on Raw or the new group. He said that they were done €œshaking hands and kissing babies.€ He seemed to be rallying against the fact that he wasn€™t getting much of a chance in WWE. Did he ever, from a storyline perspective, think the reason he doesn€™t get much TV time is because he always loses? He and R-Truth couldn€™t defeat Rusev at the same time! Of course he shouldn€™t be getting title opportunities. Let€™s just hope that this new Nation type stable ends here. I don€™t know if I can handle another gang wars in 2014 with a new Los Boricuas and Disciples of Apocalypse. I€™m not sure if the world could handle it either.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
