WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (July 27)

4. HHH Attacks Us

HHH, what did I ever do to you? I watch your product, I subscribe to the Network, and have even bought some of the videogames you€™ve been in (though none of them have been especially good since No Mercy for the N64. Yeah, I said it!). You should be nice to me Hunter! On Raw, though, HHH seemed to have something heavy on his mind and wanted to take some cheap shots at the company€™s most loyal fans. He mocked people who complain on the internet, and those who say they€™ll give up watching WWE and then come back the next week. Unfortunately for him, they don€™t always come back, as millions of people have quit watching wrestling since the Attitude Era. Besides just being kind of mean, his attack had no point. Was he referring to people who ordered Battleground and weren€™t happy with what happened? Can you blame fans for wanting to like the product, but aren€™t thrilled with seeing John Cena and Randy Orton in the main event again? There was simply no payoff to Hunter€™s attacking the fans. It won€™t lead anywhere. I€™m not going to wrestle him at SummerSlam (though for the right price, I€™ll let him bury me) so he was kind of wasting his time. Why is he insulting WWE€™s most diehard fans when network subscriptions are coming up soon? That just doesn€™t seem like it€™s best for business in the least.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
