WWE To Address Status Of US Title Next Week

There was 'controversy' at Money in the Bank.

The United States Championship match at this Sunday's Money in the Bank 2019 ended in minor controversy, when Rey Mysterio captured Samoa Joe's belt whilst the champ's shoulders were seemingly off the mat.

The status of the belt is now up in the air, and - as if anyone cares - will be addressed on next week's episode of Raw. A video aired on last night's edition, in which Samoa Joe offered Rey the chance to give him his belt back, or else!

Mysterio was not present to respond to Joe's ultimatum, after suffering an apparent shoulder injury at Sunday's pay-per-view. The pair are expected to come face to face once more next Monday.
