WWE To Hold 3 Elimination Chamber Matches?

Law of diminishing what?

As of last night's Friday Night SmackDown, it looks as though WWE are set to have not one, not two, but three Elimination Chamber matches at this year's titular event.

After talking to Renee Young in a backstage sit-down interview segment, Lacey Evans revealed that she would be starting from the bottom of the blue brand's women's rung and had set her sights on the Chamber match - alluding to having 'five other women' to contend with.

These comments obviously suggest that a second women's Chamber match will be added to the previously announced Raw women's Chamber involving Shayna Baszler, Natalya, Liv Morgan, Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan and Asuka.

Also on the show, Sheamus announced that he would 'exterminate every last rat in the locker room, and (he'll) do it in the biggest rat trap of all when (he) enters the Elimination Chamber.'

Early reports suggested that Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, King Corbin, Daniel Bryan, Shinsuke Nakamura and Robert Roode would all be involved in the men's iteration of the bout this year, yet Sheamus' intentions seem to suggest otherwise.

In the past we've only ever seen a maximum of two Chamber matches held at one event. So, if three of the epic matches are booked this year, it will be another new record that Vince McMahon's company have set.

Would you be excited about the prospect of three Elimination Chamber matches in one night? Or will you be exhausted by the third encounter?
