Sarah Logan could soon find herself back on WWE's payroll.

This is according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, who reports that a number of people within the company have "loudly went to bat for her" since she was let go last week, leading to backstage speculation that the promotion is on the verge of performing a U-turn with her.

Logan was let go as part of WWE's mass Black Wednesday releases on 15 April, just two days after her Raw loss to Shayna Baszler. Former stablemate Ruby Riott mentioned her in a promo on last night's show, which is unusual for somebody who has just been let go, and Sarah has another major tie to WWE in the form of husband Erik of The Viking Raiders.

Signed to a full developmental contract in October 2016, Logan graduated to WWE's main roster alongside Riott and Liv Morgan 13 months later, though she had struggled for momentum since the group's split in 2018. Baszler had bested her in less than a minute.

Last night's Raw was preceded by a Ryan Satin report that one of WWE's released wrestlers was set for a shock appearance on the show, though this never came to pass.
