WWE Top 10 Royal Rumble Fails

1. Maven Shocks The World By Eliminating The Undertaker (Royal Rumble 2002)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpJshxa7ryM The top moment on this list is the right choice. It's not even a Royal Rumble "failure" in this case. It's more known as the biggest upset in the history of the Rumble match. As every WWE fan knows, the Undertaker is one of the most famous and successful superstars ever. In the 2002 Rumble, he was dominating the match while Matt & Jeff Hardy were doing their best to get rid of them. The 11th man in the match was a rookie at the time known as Maven. He won WWE's reality TV competition show Tough Enough, so he was fairly new to the roster. When he faced off with Undertaker everybody assumed that was going to be it for Maven. Wrong. After Undertaker sent the Hardy Boys to the floor (not over the top), he was talking trash to them as he stood by the ropes. That allowed Maven to sneak up behind him and give him a dropkick to the back. The dropkick sent Undertaker over the top rope to the floor. He was eliminated. It was one of the biggest crowd reactions in Royal Rumble history. Jim Ross: "That was the biggest shocker I've ever seen at the Royal Rumble." He was right. That's exactly what it was. Undertaker was so mad he inflicted a huge beating on Maven that took him out of the match although Maven was never officially eliminated from the match. This was one of those moments you don't see too often. I know WWE has tried to do other surprise eliminations over the years, but nothing can top this one. Maven eliminating Undertaker was a special moment from the 2002 Rumble that we'll never forget. Enjoy the 2014 Royal Rumble not just for the joy of the winner, but for the laughter it creates as well because the fun of the Rumble is as appealing as anything else.
