WWE: Top 25 Stone Cold Steve Austin Moments

22. "So Let Me Just Stop All The Suspense..."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0Hme_CtVis Grand returns are the stuff of legend in the WWE. When a superstar takes off time for personal reasons or due to injury, their return is sometimes unexpected when not advertised that a certain superstar is planning on making a comeback. Such was the case for Stone Cold Steve Austin on April 28th of 2003, in the form of being announced as Co-General Manager of Monday Night Raw. At the time Steve Austin already made his return at No Way Out 2003 and made several appearances after that, even competing in his final WWE match at Wrestlemania XIX. But after all the action was laid to rest, it was time for the Texas Rattlesnake to turn a new leaf in terms of managing services, thus being announced by Linda McMahon as the new Co-General Manger of Raw, with both Austin and Bischoff sharing responsibilities and services to better improve the show's stability. And that it did. Austin taking the role of Co-General Manager was absolutely a hallmark for the majority of 2003 during the Ruthless Aggression Era. Although not competing like back in the Attitude Era days, having Austin play a pivotal role in terraforming a new era of wrestling, set an incredible precedent that has yet to be matched today in the PG Era. His ability to set up matches, create new storylines between superstars, and even coming out at will to deliver random Stunners on any unsuspecting superstars put into perspective an unforgettable hype for 2003 and even a portion of 2004. NOTE: I couldn't find an isolated video for this specific moment, so my apologies for a long video. You can jump to 1:31:37 to witness the moment.
