1. The New Series Promises To Be Even Better
The first series was a blast, but series 2 promises to be even better. Now is the time to get on board. Firstly, we should see a fair bit of the backstage buildup to Cena vs Bryan from Summerslam. It is Bella boyfriend vs Bella boyfriend, and the series is sure to shed some backstage light on the Cena Bryan relationship heading into one of the biggest matches of the year. Sneak clips of the series have also shown other interesting moments. John Cena asks Nikki Bella to move into his mansion... and then presents her with a 'contract agreement' about how the relationship dynamic works. Hilarious. Who knows, that could be fake, but then again a multi millionaire like Cena does have to protect himself. There may also be the more ridiculous angles again. Natalya and Tyson Kidd's cat, Gizmo, played a pretty important role in series 1. Kidd was obsessed with the feline friend. Sadly, Gizmo recently passed away. If it happened in the Total Divas filming time frame then you can be sure that we will be seeing this. Kidd comes across like a real numpty on the show, mostly through the character booking you feel, now that he is back at full fitness he should feature a bit more prominently in series 2. All in all, there is plenty within Total Divas to keep a wrestling fan entertained and informed. The fact you get to see and understand the backstage WWE, and meet Daniel Bryan and John Cena as their real personas, this is a show you will not want to miss. Just try to fast forward through any bits involving the Funkadactyls.
