WWE Tough Enough's Amanda Has Heat Over Calling Sara A "Ring Rat"

The blonde isn't afraid to say anything to get ahead on Tough Enough.

This week on WWE Network's Tough Talk show that follows Tough Enough, Amanda was interviewed and while she was talking about her competitor Sara, she called her a ring rat. A ring rat is an insider term in the wrestling business that has been used for years to reference women that sleep with wrestlers, basically the industry's version of groupies. It drew a huge reaction and according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE's web department was given word that the term "ring rat" is banned from any stories on the web site Here's what Amanda said about Sara: "I get a rep because of the way I look, and I think it's kind of funny because maybe the reason she's so 'likable,' because instead of being at the barracks every weekend practicing her moves, she's playing ring rat." What she was referring to was Sara likely hanging out with NXT wrestlers on weekends in Orlando when they are not training. Sara was stunned by it and responded this way: "That's not true, for the record. She's trying to get into my head, or the heads of the WWE Universe. She can say what she wants. She said herself she was going to try to plant seeds of doubt in my head." If you missed Tough Talk, here's the reaction from Paige, The Miz and Daniel Bryan after Amanda called Sara a ring rat. Paige freaked out the most on the broadcast. https://twitter.com/WWEToughEnough/status/633812077082095616 It's no surprise that WWE would want to shy away from the ring rat term and the accusation that Amanda made. She said that she acted like a heel on the show to get far and it did get her to the finals, but it would be a surprise if Sara doesn't win the fan vote. Amanda's the better prospect of the two, but the fans like Sara and she'll probably be the winner. The finale is on Tuesday night.
