WWE Trying To Sign AEW Star?
One of wrestling's most sought-after free agents is in WWE's crosshairs.
WWE is making major moves to sign recent AEW standout Ben Carter, reports Fightful Select.
Carter had previously told Fightful that he hadn't yet signed for AEW despite making several appearances over the past few months. On top of the Tony Khan-helmed promotion, he has received significant interest from both Impact Wrestling and WWE, saying "I've got a lot of cool avenues that I could potentially take and now it's about deciding which one is the right one for me."
The Brit extrapolated, saying that he has "no clue what the future holds," revealing that he used to be worried about having to go back to the United Kingdom and rebuild all his indie connections, having done so in the United States. Now, his dilemma is seemingly which contract offer to accept - which sounds like a nice problem to have.
Carter caught the eye in a major way with his explosive performance opposite Scorpio Sky on AEW Dynamite's 22 September episode. He also has two Dark appearances to his name, working Ricky Starks and Lee Johnson, and wrestled Chris Sabin on the most recent episode of Impact Xplosion as well.
