Result: Bate kills Tucker with the Tyler Driver 97 to score the pin (10:34).
Rating: WWE knew what they had when they booked this as the first round main event, and the crowd unsurprisingly loved it. Tucker confirmed himself as a thrilling high-flyer while Bate played up to the crowd perfectly, resulting in a highly entertaining conclusion to the tournament's round one.
The length was just right, the pacing was stellar and it had a great balance of ground work and more showy manoeuvers. It's a shame both men couldn't advance, but alas, that's a tournament for you. Bate's clearly the star of the two, but Triple H should keep an eye on Tucker also. 7/10
