WWE Veteran Backstage At Last Night's AEW Dynamite Tapings
Which former World Heavyweight Champion show-off was backstage at AEW Dynamite last night?
WWE veteran Dolph Ziggler was present backstage for last night's AEW Dynamite show in The Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
However, those wondering whether this means the former World Heavyweight Champion could be in line to shockingly hammer down the Forbidden Door in the not too distant future probably shouldn't get their hopes up too much. According to Fightful Select, Ziggler was in the neighbourhood visiting a few pals, with the former NXT Champion actually living in the L.A. area at the moment.
As has been well documented at this point, Ziggler's brother Ryan Nemeth is currently taking up a spot on the All Elite roster and was also involved in last night's Elevation tapings in a contest that saw him team with Peter Avalon and Cesar Bononi in a bout against The Death Triangle - no prizes for figuring out who won that one...
Since dropping his aforementioned NXT strap back to Bron Breakker on the Raw after WrestleMania 38, Ziggler has yet to wrestle for WWE again, despite still being classed as a member of the Monday Night Raw roster.
It's interesting to note that former WWE star CJ Perry (F.K.A. Lana) was also backstage for Dynamite, supporting her husband Miro as he made his triumphant return to AEW. Renee Paquette was in attendance backstage, too, as she cheered on her husband Jon Moxley who was in action against Daniel Garcia.
