WWE: What's Next For The Stars Of Wrestlemania 29?

Ryback

ryback It's difficult to say what WWE hoped to accomplish when they had Ryback attack John Cena on RAW. The crowd in attendance that night were not your average crowd any way so the cheers Ryback got should not rule out that he actually turned Heel (which is being disputed). Likewise the fans are still sick and tired of nice guy Cena so anyone who attacks him is likely to elicit a Babyface response from the majority of the crowd so again Cena is perhaps not the best choice to have Ryback turn Heel against - if in fact he actually has. WWE may simply be positioning Ryback as an unpredictable tweener with more of a Babyface persona than a Heel. Exactly how Ryback (or WWE for that matter) feels he is deserving of a shot at the WWE Championship given his loss one night earlier is anyone's guess but as we reported last week the plan had been Ryback/Cena for a while leading in to Wrestlemania so perhaps creative are choosing to ignore the loss to Henry or will use it as the reason for Ryback's attacks if in fact he has turned to the dark side. Personally I feel WWE are simply setting up Ryback for yet another big PPV loss. He's been the victim of difficult booking for the last year and there's no way Cena's losing the belt this quickly so unless Mark henry is inserted into the feud as the 'fall guy' then I can't see how Ryback's career can improve going forward.
