WWE would be wise to be judicious with their NXT call-ups for this years Royal Rumble, but they'd be even wiser to start using Io Shirai on Raw or SmackDown before they lose her completely.

The 'Genius Of The Sky' has been treading water since her awesome NXT Women's Championship reign came to an end in April 2021, and the brand has changed irreversibly since. The Royal Rumble should mark her call-up as a now, before it's lost as a never.
