Summer Rae was released by WWE in 2017 and stayed gone in spite of the various nostalgia shows over the years and 2018's all-female Evolution pay-per-view mining numerous names from the past for an all-star battle royal.

All this is to say that while she'll likely not trouble the oddsmakers, there'll be a curiosity to what she'll offer some five years removed from her last WWE in-ring outing.
