Zoey Stark's strong 2023 faded into the background by December - another female lost to Triple H's slapdash handling of both women's divisions on Raw and SmackDown.

It's multifariously frustrating in Stark's case too. A team with Shayna Baszler would make sense stylistically, but the pair were brought together as locker room mates in woefully unconvincing fashion after Stark had lost her shot at Rhea Ripley's World Heavyweight Championship.

This also means she won't be in contention anytime soon, but she's too good to be convincingly left out of one of the most high-stakes matches in the division all year.
