A WWE return for the TNA Women's Champion has been mooted for weeks, and the artist currently known as Trinity would slip effortlessly into her former role less than two years after slipping away from an entirely different organisation.

Back then, her exit alongside Sasha Banks was down to a beef with abysmal booking and shoddy treatment from the likes of Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis. With those days confined to the past, the former SmackDown Women's Champion could stroll into a top spot in a division that needs star power.

One shouldn't ignore Royal Rumble lore with Naomi either - her 2020 return drew one of the contest's loudest-ever pops, and transcended the company in a way that only made it more annoying when they didn't push her. This is a golden opportunity to make it right the second time around.
