23. Kairi Sane

Recent returnee Kairi Sane may only be an outsider for winning the Royal Rumble, but she's on more of an inside track within Damage CTRL than the stable's current leader.

Sane's in-ring return hasn't been much to write home about yet, but she's been vital in making the group more of a concern than they've been for the bulk of their existence in the last few months. Gangs should and typically do do well in the Rumble, and the unease between Sane and Bayley could feed into saves, elimination runs and "accidental" slip-ups for either side along the way.

Along with bringing back the feeling in WWE, Triple H now needs to work at bringing back the old quality of the Rumble with his raft of new stars. Make some classic magic with contemporary tricks.
