At Tuesday evening's Smackdown tapings, another match was announced for the upcoming Battleground Pay-Per-View. WWE Women's Champion Charlotte declared that she and Dana Brooke will face Sasha Banks and a partner of her choosing.

The show opened with a bout between Banks and Brooke, one which was announced on Raw after Banks made Brooke tap out to the Banks Statement. This match had the same result, and after the bout ended, Charlotte attacked her rival. Later in the show, Charlotte and Brooke confronted Banks as medical personnel attended to her, letting her know about the PPV match.

The rivalry between Sasha Banks and Charlotte has been going on for years, and is now reaching a fever pitch. The two women repeatedly clashed in NXT, with Banks eventually capturing the brand's Women's Championship from the second-generation star. When both women came to the main roster as part of the Divas' Revolution, they joined opposing stables, and eventually clashed - along with Becky Lynch - in a triple threat match at WrestleMania. Charlotte won that bout, and Banks was kept off TV for several months in preparation for her next singles push.

With this tag bout taking place at Battleground, Banks challenging - and defeating - Charlotte for the title at SummerSlam seems like a virtual certainty.
