WWE WrestleMania 1 Stars - Where Are They Now?

14. Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan

There might not be a single manager or commentator more skilled at drawing heat and entertaining people than Bobby €˜The Brain€™ Heenan. He was an outstanding manager for many years, and was downright hysterical in his commentary work, becoming arguably the best heel commentator of all time. After WrestleMania I, Heenan would continue to managerial work until 1986, when he joined longtime friend Gorilla Monsoon at the commentary table. It was there that duo would put on some of the best commentary ever heard, complementing their opposing styles and personalities perfectly. Heenan would do this until 1994, when he jumped WCW and commentated there until it closed. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004, with his acceptance speech going down as one of the best of all-time. Heenan hasn€™t been seen in WWE since the 2007 €˜Mr. McMahon Appreciation Night€™. He has had trouble speaking due to an ongoing battle with cancer, and has undergone multiple reconstructive surgeries on his jaw. It€™s a very unfortunate series of circumstances, considering that Heenan€™s gift for the gab made him one of the most beloved speakers in wrestling history.
