3. Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka
At WrestleMania I, Snuka was in the corner of Hulk Hogan and Mr. T. as they squared off against Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff. He was a wildly popular superstar, and his trademark Superfly Splash served as the standard-bearer for exciting high-flying wrestling. Over the years, life hasnt been too kind to the Superfly. Earlier this year, Snuka was diagnosed with stomach cancer, and the treatment process took a lot out of him. He had to have his lymph nodes and part of his stomach removed surgically, and requires a wheelchair to get around. Worse, his 1983 murder case has been re-opened. As a result, Snukas legends contract has been suspended, his WWE Hall of Fame status has been revoked, and WWE has been eerily silent regarding the entire situation.
