WWE WrestleMania 29 Fantasy Booking: 10 Matches That Should Take Place
United States ChampionshipAntonio Cesaro © Vs Dolph Ziggler The entrance theme of everyones favourite bumper; Dolph Ziggler, as he takes on Cesaro for the US championship. Dolph may be the current Money In The Bank briefcase holder but it would appear that WWE is quietly brushing over that fact at the moment and it by no means requires Ziggy to avoid other title matches. The main reason Im putting this match on the card is because the two men have nothing as of yet leading into Mania and the two could put on one hell of a match. Its also a match that I cant recall seeing yet so it would seem fresh to those watching and I guarantee it would be a hell of an opener. The stuff these two future superstars could cram into a (likely) 5 minute window would get the crowd pumped up real nice. Its easy to assume that if this was to take place, WWE wouldnt give much time to the build-up on TV so a simple programme would benefit. Perhaps Ziggler gets increasingly annoyed that he is not yet booked on the Mania card, Cesaro has the same miss-givings and the two are both in the GMs office complaining as such. Naturally the GM makes the match between the two and immediately they take it to each other in the office. Nice and easy. The two of them being heels wont matter a jot as it would normally as both men have fans who cheer and fans who boo. It will simply be a great match to have with two of the best talents in WWE able to show off their prowess in the ring. Winner: Dolph Ziggler I would go for the Dolph win for two reasons; the first is that he has been on such a losing streak that he could do with a high profile win and it doesnt get much better than winning a belt on the grandest stage. Reason number two would depend entirely on whether WWE want Dolph to cash in his MITB contract. If this is the plan his victory for a title in the opening match will make everyone believe that it wont happen on the night and when it does, it would be simply shocking and we would have a double champion heading out of Mania and a potential 4-way match at extreme rules between Dolph, Cesaro, Del Rio and Swagger. Potentially for both titles! Now thats money!
