WWE WrestleMania 29 Fantasy Booking: 10 Matches That Should Take Place

1. WWE Championship

CM Punk © Vs The Undertaker

cm punk undertaker Oh how good would this match be and how much would people be divided on who would win? The Streak versus The Championship. 20-0 versus 504 days. The Veteran versus the man desperate for respect. There are so many ways to keep everyone guessing on how this would end. Either man winning would garner a huge reaction due to seeing something genuinely major happen, both from the crowd and those tuning in at homes. This is a true WrestleMania main event! For this I am booking The Undertaker to return at the Rumble and win the shot at the title. A fairly simple explanation on how to set this match up naturally; but the magic could follow. As I€™m sure most would agree this would be a truly sensational spectacle and therefore I will go into a bit more detail into my fantasy build up. Firstly to announce he€™s taking on Punk at €˜Mania he waits until Punk retains in the Chamber. We don€™t hear a peep from him beforehand leaving the commentators to sell the speculation over his selection as best they can. After the Chamber match we hear the €œBoing€ and mist flows throughout the arena, lightning flashes and on the €˜tron,we see the date of WrestleMania followed by a second flash and then simply the words €œPUNK€. I would still keep Taker off of TV until his entrance on the night itself to really build this up perfectly. Punk is good enough to run this feud single handidly. He could go through all sorts of moods and emotions running up to the event. At first he could be Cocky about it all, slating taker for being old and past it. Perhaps we have a segment where Punk is stood in the centre of the ring with no nice words for Taker at all when the Bells toil. At first Punk acts scared but immediately burst out laughing. Explaining he set it all up. He does it again the next week but as Punk walks to the back with Heyman the bells toil again. Both men look at each other asking if they organised it, they shake their heads and scurry to the back. After this Punk gets a little scared and cautious. He starts to praise takers career but maintaining he will be the only winner. The Phenom still doesn€™t show up but after a couple of weeks we hear the oh so family bells and some smoke. The lights go out and when they come back on, Paul Heyman has disappeared. The next week Punk looks for him everywhere backstage but to no avail until the very end of that RAW. During the main event match, Heyman is shown on the tron with a shadowy figure standing behind him. Just as Paul shouts €œWe€™re here!€ the camera goes black. Punk runs backstage, the camera catches up with him (at this point I would subtly turn the commentators off and have the backstage area eerily deserted, but don€™t have Punk reference this in the slightest). Punk runs about trying to find Paul, looking in the locker rooms, offices etc. (still doesn€™t meet a single person) until he finds Paul tied to a chair at the end of a hall. Punk frees Paul and turns slightly to look back down the hall, the camera following his gaze and we catch a glimpse of a figure walking by further down the hall. From this point on Punk is mad but odd occurrences keep happening, and with each one Punk gets more aggressive in his reaction. Not playing the overdone scared victim shtick until it€™s the final RAW before €˜Mania. We simply see Punk try to leave up the ramp at the end of RAW but Taker appears as if my magic. 21-0 flashes onto the tron. Everyone can€™t wait! But who knows! I€™m not part of WWE creative. This is simply my fantasy booking, admittedly gone a bit mental. I will also keep my thoughts on who should win to myself and ask you to comment on the result of this match as well as the rest of the card. have i missed anyone off or do none of these matches make sense. As I said at the start of this, none of these matches will actually happen but its all fun and wrestling at the end of the day.
