WWE WrestleMania 29 Fantasy Booking: 10 Matches That Should Take Place

9. Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match

Wade Barrett (c) vs Kofi Kingston vs Antonio Cesaro vs The Miz

kingston money in the bank I don€™t think €˜Mania is €˜Mania without some ladders, maybe a table here and there and this match could continue the momentum of the night after the high flying lucha action. All four guys are here to stay in the WWE but aren€™t quite in the main event scene although fans are fully aware and familiar with each of them. Perfect for the Intercontinental Championship. Each of the participants have shown they can be creative in their matches and I believe could pull off a legendary ladder match. Also, now that Miz is face, you have the perfect face/heel balance. A simple scenario can evolve from any one of these four guys! At the moment it does seem as though Kofi and Wade are continuing their feud! Luckily for this match it obviously doesn€™t matter who has the belt but I would land it on Wade to begin with. Purely for the crowd wanting the title to change hands on the night. Kofi can be upset about the loss whenever it happens and demand his rematch, the feud continues. During this time have Miz and Cesaro feuding, Miz cementing his face allegiances by representing the USA against the anti-USA man. Miz gets great matches and Cesaro has a worthwhile feud. It will work in both men€™s favour. Close to €˜Mania Cesaro demands an IC title shot as he will have been US champ for 8 months in April. He gets his shot but so does the Miz after Cesaro has pulled heelish tactics to retain against Miz on a few occasions. All€™s fair after all! Fatal 4 Way? Check Ladders? Why not! Fantasy Booking Winner €“ Antonio Cesaro I honestly feel Cesaro could and should be a top guy in the coming years and a stint as both US and IC champ at the same time cannot be ignored. The others are established enough to recover from a €˜Mania loss, especially in an unpredictable ladder match. It will also be a great night for the fans when Cesaro loses both titles to two different opponents in one event/match ala Kurt Angle at €˜Mania 2000.
