2. Loser Leaves Town
The classic 'loser leaves town' angle has always been a top selling gimmick. Fans can't imagine either man losing, so can't resist buying into the match. This gimmick would be especially relevant to a Taker vs Lesnar match how could Taker ever lose at Mania? At the same time, how could Brock Lesnar be forced to leave the WWE? Pro wrestling usually gets around this by not honouring the stipulation. If this match was to happen we would probably have Lesnar lose and the be brought back through some dodgy means by Summerslam 2014. That doesn't change the fact that fans buy into the gimmick, memories are short when it comes to WWE. The aspect of a retirement drama in the run up to the Mania 30 match would make the event a must buy fans would be sold on seeing either Undertaker of Lesnar's last match. Imagine the drama of near falls in the actual match as both men come within a second of losing their career. It's compellingly creative, and would add so much value to a straight up one on one match.
