Perhaps this name might not mean much to many of the WWEs current crop of fans but the 60 year old veteran from Mission, Texas was a staple of the Wrestlemania undercard throughout the events early years. Whether it was as himself or a member of The Strike Force Santana appeared at no less than 9 consecutive Wrestlemanias with his final match coming against the lord of Voodoo himself Papa Shango on the pre-show of Wrestlemania 9. But what relevance to todays audience would the man who appeared in the 1st ever Wrestlemania match have we hear you ask? Well its a fair comment to make as hes one of those veterans who has not been over exposed since hanging up the boots in McMahon land but surely as the former El Matador he would be the perfect fit to lead Los Matadores into battle against teams like the Real Americans each week on RAW and Smackdown? That being said it is very unlikely well see Tito again at Wrestlemania but theres no denying how important the Hall of Famer is to the history of the PPV.
