WWE WrestleMania 30: 10 Most Likely Winners Of Andre The Giant Memorial Trophy
2. The Big Show
The 7 foot tall, 480 lb Big Show will be one of the wrestlers to beat. His size and demeanor make him the wrestler closest to Andre the Giant (he was even called "The Giant" Paul Wight when he debuted in WCW) and it would be fitting if he were to win the Memorial Trophy, especially if he were to win it in a style akin to the Hall Of Famer. He is the most experienced wrestler to have announced his intention to compete in this match so far, so you would expect him to use this to his advantage. Big Show has some impressive weapons in his arsenal, which makes him formidable to face in the ring. In the chokeslam and his Weapon of Mass Destruction KO punch, he has the moves to destroy the opposition and send them over the top rope. His size and strength also makes it easy for him to throw wrestlers over the top rope. The Big Show has battle royal experience, doing well in most Royal Rumbles and should use his memories from the Rumble to guide him to victory. Why isn't he number one on this list? The largest athletes always have a target on their back and are prone to group attempts at eliminating one athlete and by virtue of being the biggest, The Big Show will always be targeted. This will especially be the case if he eliminates a large number of wrestlers early on in the match. He is a devastating wrestler but can fall victim to fatigue as the match progresses and to costly moments of lax concentration - note his reversed elimination attempt of The Rock to cost him the 2000 Royal Rumble. One wrestler has been able to take the challenge to The Big Show over the last few years and he edges The Big Show to the number one spot.
