WWE WrestleMania 30: 10 Most Likely Winners Of Andre The Giant Memorial Trophy
7. Alberto Del Rio
As a former WWE and World Heavyweight champion, Alberto deserves to be on this list based on big match experience and wrestling skills. Since the WWE and World Heavyweight championships were up for unification, Del Rio has been treading water in the mid card of the roster and badly needs a victory here to propel himself back into title contention. The Mexican is a technically gifted wrestler, who can mix it with any type of wrestler. His skill set is well respected and when you add in his penchant for tricking opponents and likelihood to cheat his way to victory, it could be a sure fire way of winning the Andre The Giant Memorial. He has battle royale experience from his victory in the 2011 Royal Rumble, with the largest field in WWE history. He entered that competition in the latter stages but if he can replicate that form, he stands in with a great chance. Del Rio stands a decent chance of victory here if he can reach the levels of 2011, when he made his name in the WWE. He might need to temporarily align himself with another participant to increase his chances, but if he is close to the end of the competition with even a remote chance, he will grab the opportunity with both hands. A victory recently over one of the favourites, Big E, bolsters his confidence prior to Wrestlemania.
