The Hot Rod has been campaigning on social media for a match at Wrestlemania 30, he is desperate to appear at the big event in New Orleans. The Andre the Giant Battle Royal is the perfect way for WWE to accommodate Piper on the card, it's only fitting that the match has some representation from Andre's era. Who would serve better than Rowdy Roddy Piper, one of the most famous superstars of those crazy 80's WWF heydays. It would make Piper's dream come true and also be beneficial to WWE. They need some returning legends to make the night interesting, Piper is never going to win the contest but he does offer a pop moment and added dimension. In truth the Battle Royal is probably going to be quite similar to Wrestlemania 17 when WWF legends competed in an over the top rope contest. As one of the most recognisable WWF legends ever, Piper is the main man who WWE have to book this time around. He seems very likely to show up this April 6th.
