WWE WrestleMania 30: 10 Things That Need To Happen
7. Goldust vs. Cody Rhodes
We all know that this match ought to have taken place a couple of years ago, but as we are also aware the WWE is a notorious dealer of disappointment. Hopefully they can somewhat redeem themselves and give their 'universe' this overdue arrival. The booking of this match makes nothing but sense. Dustin has been putting on performances better than he ever has, I'd go as far as saying as that he is probably the most exciting talent on the roster. Only trouble is, he is in his mid-40s. But then again, so is Rumble winner Batista. WWE creative doesn't buy into the logistics of what we would call 'sense'. Cody is on the cusp of main event status, but I don't think the entire wrestling sphere is convinced. With with the help of his brother, he can turn even the most weary cynic into a sponsor. I only hope that in the aftermath of the prize event, Goldust isn't relegated to the all-too-familar jobber scene. It's all well and good putting over youngsters, but there is a point when legitimacy is lost. Here's hoping for a bright future for the Rhodes family, as both have a great deal to offer the industry both in the present future.
