WWE WrestleMania 30: 10 Things That Need To Happen

3. The Workhorses Allowed To Shine When It Matters Most

Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, Cesaro and The Miz... these are unfortunately not names which instantaneously come into the average fan's consciousness when the buzzword 'superstar' is mentioned. But they are just some of the names who not only keep the company afloat throughout the tempestuous months of the year, but they are also those who become unjustly forgotten about when the flairs are launched and the part time saviours arrive to do 'what's best for business'. Of course, it's easier for the fans to somewhat empathise with the powers that be, and agree that such practice is best for business. But what happens when those who are briefly given the wrestling reigns decide that they have to go shoot another senseless action flick or tour with their budding band? Those sunshine supporters vanish once more and it's back to run of the mill ratings and the same old thing. WWE needs to platform these supposed journeymen so that, casual fans will not only become familiar but convinced that these gifted performers are the real deal.
