WWE WrestleMania 30: 11 Booking Decisions They Must Get Right

5. Battle Royal In A Serious Manner

Andre The Giant Memorial The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal should be exactly that, a memorial, something with some prestige. The danger is that WWE treat it merely as a gimmick to accommodate as many bodies as possible, it could end up being a real cluster in the ring. Therefore, it's important the WWE book proceedings in a serious manner. The filler talent should all be eliminated quickly, leaving the legitimate big name wrestlers to fight it out for the trophy. Guys like Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus should all have length time to demonstrate that this a real contest. Whoever wins then needs to be booked in a significant way. They must get a trophy and carry it with pride for at least the next few months. This booking will give the match more lasting meaning and means it will have helped to elevate a character into a more substantial role. If it ends up just a clumsy cluster with the winner sauntering off without much fuss then the company will have really dropped the ball.
